Last month, we embarked on a new adventure with the team from Nivola, an international company with solid expertise in the banking and insurance sectors. Helmets on, ready to pedal and immerse ourselves in nature, we kicked off the new Wine & Ride Experience!
This event, which involved around 60 employees, was designed to blend the enjoyment of the outdoors with discovering local wonders, enhancing well-being and team dynamics.
What did the experience entail?
Amid the scenic Biella landscape, we hopped on our bikes. We headed toward the protected natural area of Baraggia di Candelo, a unique European region with its distinct flora and landscape reminiscent of African savannas. This area is home to thousands of animal, plant, and fungi species—a true biodiversity treasure chest just a stone’s throw from Biella!
Guided by local experts, we cycled through the city walls, ventured into nature, and arrived in the heart of the Baraggia, where a special stop awaited us: a “nature game” that challenged us to identify native and non-native species in this wilderness.
Then the afternoon continued with another bike ride to the historic Montecavallo Castle, where it was finally time for tasting. Here, we savored local wines and food, toasted together and relaxed, closing the day with a speech from the company’s CEO and announcing the nature game winners.
